By submitting a quote request, making a payment, or using the platform, you ("Customer", "you", or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms.
SECTION 1 – PLATFORM & SERVICES MoveMy.UK operates as an online platform that allows customers to share transport requirements with a nationwide network of independent transport professionals who may have available space on their vehicles.
MoveMy.UK does not carry out transport or delivery services. All transport work is completed by independent transport providers ("Drivers" or "Carriers").
This model allows customers to benefit from competitive pricing, as drivers can utilise unused capacity on existing routes, providing cost savings for customers and additional income opportunities for drivers.
The platform may be used to request quotes for the transport of vehicles, vehicle parts, machinery, household goods, and general items. Commercial haulage services are not offered through the Website.
If none of the listed categories fit your item, please select “Other.” A member of the support team may contact you for clarification if required.
SECTION 2 – FEES & PAYMENTS A small, non-refundable listing fee is charged to cover the administrative time and costs involved in sourcing quotes and connecting customers with suitable independent transport providers.
Once a request is submitted, customer details are shared with relevant transport providers, who may contact the customer directly with their all-inclusive quotes and availability.
All communication, negotiation, and payments for transport services are handled directly between the customer and the chosen transport provider.
The listing fee is non-refundable, as it covers the process of distributing the transport request to multiple independent providers.
SECTION 3 – CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES Customers are responsible for ensuring that all information provided in the quote request is accurate, complete, and truthful.
Customers must carry out their own checks, due diligence, and verification of any transport provider they choose to work with.
All items must be legally permissible for transport. Customers are responsible for making appropriate arrangements for collection and delivery, including providing access, keys, permits, or documentation where required.
Email Visibility Notice:
When submitting a transport request, the email address provided will be visible to transport providers via the Website. Customers are strongly advised to use a secondary or dedicated email address to protect privacy and manage communications effectively.
SECTION 4 – QUOTES & RESPONSE TIMES Transport requests are typically listed on the platform within 24 hours.
Quotes are sent directly to the email address or phone number provided in the request form. Transport providers are instructed to include their all-inclusive price and availability to enable customers to make an informed decision.
SECTION 5 – LIABILITY MoveMy.UK does not own, operate, or control any transport vehicles and is not involved in the performance of transport services.
MoveMy.UK is not liable for any loss, damage, delay, or dispute arising from agreements entered into between customers and independent transport providers.
Any claims, disputes, or issues relating to transport services must be resolved directly between the customer and the chosen provider.
No guarantees are made regarding the quality, reliability, suitability, or conduct of any third-party provider. Customers engage transport providers entirely at their own risk.
SECTION 6 – DATA PROTECTION & PRIVACY Personal data is processed in accordance with UK GDPR and applicable data protection legislation.
Customer details are used solely for the purpose of providing quotes and connecting customers with independent transport providers.
All customer data is deleted by Move My Move Your Ltd after a quote is no longer active, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business, accounting, or regulatory purposes.
SECTION 7 – GENERAL These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
MoveMy.UK reserves the right to update or amend these Terms at any time. The most recent version will always be available on the Website.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
SECTION 8 – PAYMENTS & STRIPE SECURE PAYMENT MoveMy.UK uses Stripe as its secure payment processing provider.
Stripe is a globally recognised payment platform that handles all card payments on the Website. MoveMy.UK does not store, process, or have access to customers’ full payment card details at any time.
All payments are encrypted and processed securely using industry-standard security measures, including PCI-DSS compliance.
